- Scribo’s new pieces are inspired by the porticoes of Bologna, which embody a lot of history and meaning, to present our two new creations from the LA DOTTA collection: Studiorum and Domus.
It is the arrival of students, attracted since 1088 by the famous Studiorum, that led to the construction of the famous porticoes of Bologna: to give them a Domus, i.e. a home, the upper floors of the houses were enlarged by adding balconies initially supported by wooden beams, contrasting the light and darkness that characterizes these structures after sunset.
Their vivid and artificial color not only illuminates the steps but also attracts attention, drawing geometric shapes between the shadows of these arcades that slowly accompany you to the end.
