- Few designs can remain relevant for a hundred years, which is why we celebrate Elmo 01 with a brilliant new expansion colour. The colour of the year for 2022 is Very Peri, a solid periwinkle blue that brings a vivid presence to the striking simplicity of the emerging 1922 silhouette.
The gateway model of our new Vintage Class channels the maverick spirit of Heinrich ‘Elmo’ Helm, technical director of our factory until 1928. His ideas were born of both ambition and necessity, drawing on the spirit of the Bauhaus movement to optimise production and meet the demands of a growing educated class.
