- The first fountain pen is Tolomeo and is made of speckled blue auroloid with a solid 18K gold nib. Around 150 AD, geographer Claudius Ptolemy drew the first map of the then-known world, using a grid of geometric lines corresponding to latitude and longitude. Ptolemy’s work revolutionized continental cartography. The cap features a solid 925 silver armillary sphere and the body depicts the compass rose.
- In this Limited Edition Collection, Aurora involves the sense of Touch: a special relief tactile cover has been developed, in which, with closed eyes, you will go through the stages of the explorers.
